You, the employer will be liable because you are the one who is actually guaranteeing the purity of the water from the point of use water cooler simply because the quality of the water out of the fountain is not regulated by any regulatory agency.
5.Does the person or company putting in the point of use water cooler have liability insurance?
If the filters and membranes in a point of use system are not changed, cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis they become a breeding ground for bacteria and other microorganisms.If no one is checking the bacteria levels out of the system, how do you know when it is time to change filters and membranes?Ask your representative who is going to check for bacteria levels!
